We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines regarding deposits, cancellations, and refunds for our various services.

Deposits

Standard Service Deposits

For standard makeup services and consultations, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on the day of service before the appointment begins.

Bridal Service Deposits

For bridal makeup services, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the wedding date. For bookings made less than 14 days before the wedding date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Group Bookings

For group bookings (3 or more people), we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 7 days before the appointment date.

Makeup Lessons

For makeup lessons, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Services

Our cancellation policy for standard services is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of deposit or option to reschedule.
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of your deposit will be refunded, or you may reschedule with a rescheduling fee of £25.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: No refund of deposit, and full service fee may be charged.

Bridal Services

Due to the high demand for bridal makeup services, especially during peak wedding season, our cancellation policy for bridal services is as follows:

  • More than 30 days notice: Full refund of deposit or option to reschedule (subject to availability).
  • 14-30 days notice: 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
  • Less than 14 days notice: No refund of deposit.
  • Less than 7 days notice: No refund of deposit, and full service fee may be charged.

Group Bookings

For group bookings, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 14 days notice: Full refund of deposit or option to reschedule (subject to availability).
  • 7-14 days notice: 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
  • Less than 7 days notice: No refund of deposit.

Makeup Lessons

For makeup lessons, our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or option to reschedule.
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or option to reschedule with a rescheduling fee of £25.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: No refund.

Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances may require you to reschedule your appointment. Our rescheduling policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours notice: You may reschedule your appointment once without any additional fee, subject to availability.
  • 24-48 hours notice: Rescheduling is subject to a £25 rescheduling fee.
  • Less than 24 hours notice: Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation (deposit forfeited) and a new booking (requiring a new deposit).

For bridal services, rescheduling requests made less than 30 days before the wedding date are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Late Arrivals

We value punctuality to ensure that all clients receive their full service time. Our policy regarding late arrivals is as follows:

  • If you arrive up to 15 minutes late, your appointment time will be shortened accordingly, and you will be charged the full service price.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment, and it will be treated as a "no-show" (see below).

No-Shows

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, it will be considered a "no-show." In such cases:

  • Your deposit will be forfeited.
  • The full service fee may be charged.
  • Future bookings may require full payment in advance.

Dissatisfaction with Services

At QuietSpring, client satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please notify us during or immediately after your appointment so that we can address your concerns promptly.

  • For in-studio services, any concerns must be raised before leaving the studio to allow us to make adjustments.
  • For on-location services, concerns must be raised during the service or immediately upon completion.
  • In cases of genuine dissatisfaction, we may offer a partial refund, store credit, or complimentary touch-up service, at our discretion.

Please note that refunds for completed services are rare and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subjective preferences regarding style choices do not typically qualify for refunds if the service was performed as agreed upon during consultation.

Product Returns

For makeup products purchased directly from QuietSpring:

  • Unopened, unused products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
  • We cannot accept returns of opened or used products for hygiene reasons.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.

Digital Product Refunds

For digital products, such as online tutorials or downloadable content:

  • Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the content has been accessed or downloaded.
  • If you experience technical difficulties accessing your digital product, please contact us within 7 days of purchase for assistance or a potential refund.

Force Majeure

In the event that QuietSpring must cancel your appointment due to circumstances beyond our control (such as illness, extreme weather conditions, or other emergencies), we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible.
  • Offer to reschedule your appointment at no additional cost.
  • Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible or desirable.

Refund Processing

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Credit card refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
  • Bank transfer refunds may take 3-5 business days to process.

Special Circumstances

We understand that special circumstances (such as medical emergencies or bereavement) may arise that require cancellation or rescheduling. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find a reasonable solution. Documentation may be required for refunds in these situations.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review our Refund Policy periodically for changes.
